Background: Bob and Harvey Weinstein founded Dimension Films in 1991 as a genre film counterpart distributor of Miramax Films. Currently, Dimension Films is a genre film label for The Weinstein Company and its pre-October 2005 franchises are shared by Miramax and Disney.

FX/SFX: The zoom-out.
Music/Sounds: Silent, or the opening theme of the movie.
Availability: Really common on most Dimension titles.
Scare Factor: Low to medium. The darkness may scare you.
