Background: Dark Horse Entertainment is a motion picture and television production arm of Dark Horse Comics, which was known for The Mask, its sequel, Son of the Mask and its animated spin-off, The Mask: The Animated Series and Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot.

Logo: We see the following words set up like this:

with "DARK HORSE" larger and "D" in "DARK" more larger than the rest of the letters.

: Against the white background we see a black picture of a horse chess piece. Around it are the words, "DARK • HORSE • ENTERTAINMENT" in a circle-text wrap effect with a dot between each word.

Variant: On the Hard Boiled game, the logo has the name "DARK HORSE COMICS" with copyright info below.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds
: The ending theme of the show.

Availability: Appeared on seasons 2-3 of
The Mask: The Animated Series and on the end of Barb Wire.

3rd Logo
(1999-2001?)

Nicknames: "The Dark Horse Chess Piece II", "The Golden Dark Horse Chess Piece"

Logo: Dark Horse Entertainment (1999)Against the purple starfield background, we see the similar Dark Horse logo from before, but it's in a gold tint this time. On the bottom left is the website URL saying "DHENTERTAINMENT.COM ". The logo shines.

FX/SFX: The logo shining.


Music/Sounds: A one-note fantasy music.

Availability: Appeared on Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot when it was last seen on Fox Kids. However, it is preserved when the episodes of the show are available on Crackle.
