Logo: Scrolling up in the credits of Dark Shadows, we see a superimposed logo with stylized text (the first letters of each word are in boxes) as follows:

Music/Sounds: The end theme of Dark Shadows, or a voice-over saying, "Dark Shadows is a Dan Curtis Production."
Availability: Found on all episodes of the original Dark Shadows TV series, which ran on ABC from 1966 to 1971.
Scare Factor: Low to nightmare, depending on what you think of the spooky Dark Shadows theme song or a sudden voice-over catching you off-guard.
2nd Logo
(1973)
Logo: On a dark background with a scary-looking face, we see this text:
The logo would then cut to a Metromedia Producers Corporation logo that would be superimposed on the same background.
FX/SFX: None.
Music/Sounds: A scary-sounding end theme, which is that of The Norliss Tapes.
Availability: Seen on the 1973 TV movie The Norliss Tapes.
Scare Factor: High to nightmare; the scary-looking face, as well as the scary-sounding music, may scare you.

I used to watch the show as a kid (just to see If Barnabas would bite anybody!), and I never once heard a narrator. What years was a narrator used?
(P.S. The logo's font looked like Quigley Wiggley.)
