Background: The people named in the company are Greg Coote and Jeffery Hayes.
1st logo
(1999-2001)
Nicknames: "The Waving Flag/Sheet", "Australian Pride"
Logo: On a black background, we see a box with a red and white-striped sheet in it, making waves. There is a blue sky above it. Below the box is "COOTE/HAYES PRODUCTIONS", which initially glows but almost immediately dims. The sheet stops waving, and stars twinkle in the sky, causing a bright flash that turns the image into a 2D stylized version with the sky replaced by a blue field with stars in it. The stars are in the pattern of those that appear on the Australian flag, as Coote/Hayes is based there.
FX/SFX: The waving sheet, the stars, the flash.
Music/Sounds: A patriotic-sounding tune with piano and drums, and a booming final note as the logo becomes stylized. Very fitting.
Availability: Seen on 1999-2001 episodes of
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World. It may have also appeared at the end of
BeastMaster.
Scare Factor: None, really.
2nd logo
(2001-2002)
Nickname: "The Waving Flag/Sheet II"
Logo: Same as the 1st logo, but the picture is now wider, and "COOTE/HAYES" is above it and "PRODUCTIONS" is below it.
FX/SFX: Same as the 1st logo.
Music/Sounds: Same as 1st logo.
Availability: Seen on later
Lost World episodes.
Scare Factor: Same as 1st logo.
