1st Logo
(1930s-1940s?)
Note: This is a reissue title used in cartoons from the mid-to-late 30s to the early 40s to hide the RKO Radio Pictures disclaimer.
Logo: Same as below, except the fact that the background is red with some musical notes "waving". The title is "A WALT DISNEY
PRODUCTION" in yellow with "COLOR BY TECHNICOLOR" in pink below, with the copyright disclaimer in blue.
Closing Title: Only a single end title was used during this period: the "The End" in red (sometimes pink) words in red sunburst background, with the words "A WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION" in blue very below.
SFXFX: None, unless you want to count the scratches.
MusicMusic/Sounds: As always, the beginning of the theme of the respective short.
Availability: Seen in the 1939 version of the Silly Symphony "The Ugly Duckling" and "Crazy Over Daisy" (If there's more cartoons with this opening, let me know about it).
Scare Factor: None. It's very harmless.
2nd Logo
(1940s-1950s)
Note: This is the alternate opening title for some Disney Cartoons also to hide the RKO Radio Pictures disclaimer.
Logo: In a curtain-like background, in huge yellow fonts are "A WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION" with "TECHNICOLOR" in pink
below. Underneath, the copyright disclaimer and the RCA Sound Recording and the I.A.T.S.E. logos. It sometimes cuts off to the opening credits.
Closing Title: Variates depending on the cartoon. It sometimes features the "The End" in red or pink in the center of an red sunburst background, with "A WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION" in blue very below. Or the "The End" in teal script font in the center of a blue or red background, with "A WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION" in white very below.
SFXFX: None, unless you want to count the scratches.
MusicMusic/Sounds: The intro of a theme (Donald Duck, Goofy, etc.)
Availability: Found on cartoons such as "Californy 'er Bust", "Trailer Horn" and "The Clown of the Jungle".
Scare Factor: None whatsoever.
3rd Logo
(1950s)

Note: These are two opening titles found only on cartoons without Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, etc.
Logo: In a red sunburst background are the words "COLOR BY TECHNICOLOR" in red font or blue and old-style font very above. In the middle, the words "Walt Disney" (in the 1950s-1960s font) with "PRESENTS" below, or "A WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION" ("WALT DISNEY" has the classic font. "A" and "Production" are in script). Underneath are the copyright disclaimers and four logos in the "WALT DISNEY PRESENTS" title or three logos in the "A WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION" title.
Closing Title: There are customized end titles such as the "THE END" in huge font caused by fog in green background with "A WALT DISNEY PRODUCTION" in white below. This variation is available on "Susie, the Little Blue Coupé". "Football Now and Then" and "Pigs is Pigs" used the normal "The End" in teal script in blue background.
SFXFX: See the 1st and the 2nd logos.
MusicMusic/Sounds: Variates on the cartoon.
Availability: The 1st logo is scarce and the 2nd one is rare. The 1st logo was spotted on "Lambert, The Sheepish Lion" and "Susie, The Little Blue Coupé". The 2nd logo is rare, but found on "Pigs is Pigs", "Football Now and Then" and "Social Lion".
Scare Factor: None at all.
