CBS Local ID's
Here's a description of how local 1995 CBS' affiliates' IDs were animated, at least from what I saw in the "You're On" demo (now on Dailymotion, once on YouTube):
WCBS in New York City:
On a dark purple background, a purple CBS eye and an orange "2" drop down from different angles, then center themselves on the screen. "WCBS-TV NEW YORK" is wiped in from both sides below.
KLFY in Lafayette, Louisiana:
On a black background, an odd blue shape looking like two talking bubbles (like in the comic books) glued together spins around, while "10" and "KLFY" zoom out from the left.
KWTX in Waco, Texas:
On a transparent blue background that has a cameraman, eight screens of news footage throughout Waco shoot out in all directions. In the center, "NEWSCHANNEL 10" (with the "10" being gray-colored and larger than the rest), along with "KWTX-TV WACO, TEMPLE, KILLEEN" spin into place, leaving a trail, and the logo shines.
KRTV in Great Falls, Montana:
On a purple-pink background, the camera tilts upward from a close-up shot of a giant periwinkle CBS eye with a "3" in the middle. "KRTV 3" and a gold CBS eye drop down slightly, over the giant eye.
KSTF in Scottsbluff, Nebraska:
Over a live-action picture of Scottsbluff, a cube with the 1992 CBS ID inside rotates around aimlessly in the center of the screen, then, just like a chick hatching out of its egg, the KSTF logo (consisting of a futuristic "KSTF" logo with "Scottsbluff" and "Gering" below) breaks free from the cube and zooms in to the viewer.
