Background: Also known as CBS Television Film Sales and later CBS Enterprises, Inc. starting in 1970, this was the production/distribution arm of the CBS Television Network for CBS off-network programs from 1953 to 1971, being later reincorporated as Viacom Enterprises. Today, all the CBS Films library is currently held by CBS Corporation, through CBS Television Distribution. Resurrected in 2007 by CBS Corporation as its new motion picture company, CBS Films plans to produce four to six movies a year spanning all genres, with production budgets up to $50 million per film. CBS Films unveiled their moving logo today, the first animated branding art produced for the new studio. The logo will make its official in-theater debut early next year on the studio's first release, Extraordinary Measures, which opens on January 22, 2010.

Logo: We see a filmstrip that is going to move. Then, we zoom out, go around like a roller coaster and we zoom away so that all the filmstrips form
the CBS corporate eye. As the circle of the CBS eye shines, the seven letters zoom out to form words CBS FILMS with CBS to the left of the eye and FILMS to the right, all in sky blue color. Some circles move out from the eye and the center of the eye turns blue.

Variant: On a vivid blue background we see the CBS corporate eye with CBS to the left and FILMS to the right, all in sky blue color. Some circles move out from the eye.

FX/SFX: Shining background, emitting circles.

Music/Sounds: An light orchestral fanfare composed by James Horner, composer of his CBS News theme music package and his CBS Television Studios logo music.

Availability: The full logo sequence can be seen on the CBS Films website. The short version is seen in the trailer for Extraordinary Measures, but the full-length one will surely be seen in the movie itself.
