Blancic Video (Nov. 1983-1992)

Nicknames: "The TV", "¡Que Buen Video!"

Logo: On a black background, we see a red-outlined hand turning on a blue outlined television with an orange screen. A pink "Blancic Video", in a cursive-like font resembling nameplates on old 1950s cars is seen below the orange screen, which reads "¡QUE BUEN VIDEO!" The TV in the logo also has buttons and knobs to the right of the screen. Then, we zoom into "QUE BUEN VIDEO!" and fade out.

Variant: At the end of the tape, we zoom away from the "¡QUE BUEN VIDEO!", and the same hand then comes in again to turn the TV off.

FX: All the animation in the logo...

Cheesy Factor: ...which is primitive by '80s standards.

Music/Sounds:
(Opening logo) A synthesized whirring sound, then a "beep" as the TV turns on, and finally a chime with a synth-flute sounder, along with an announcer "Blancic Video! Siempre con las mejores películas presenta...".
(Closing logo) What sounds like high-pitched doors closing, along with the same announcer-- "Blancic Video! Que buen video!".

Availability: This was seen on a lot of NTSC-format CIC Video tapes in Venezuela. But seeing as how there's no eBay or Amazon.com for Venezuela, it's a very tough find.

Scare Factor: Medium to high for those who are unfamiliar with this due to the darkness of the logo and the animation.
