Background: Avalanche Home Entertainment was a division of Lions Gate Films.
(Late 90s-2001)
Logo: On a rippling crystal blue background, we see part of the letter "A" and a snow avalanche below it. The snow reveals the word "AVALANCHE" and is placed underneath the big "A". Then the snow disappears, and a bolt-like figure flashes in on top of the "A". The word "HOME ENTERTAINMENT" appears below under the line, and a byline saying "A DIVISION OF LIONS GATE FILMS CORP." There is a small LG lion standing near the byline.
FX/SFX: The rippling background, the avalanche, and the flash.
Music/Sounds: A tense synth theme with a exclaim in the middle, that continues to the very end.
Availability: Uncommon. Appears on older VHS/DVDs like Tiger Claws 2, Cyber Vengeance, Expect to Die, Crisis, Shivers, Hitman's Run, and Papertrail, among others.
Scare Factor: Minimal.
