Background: This company was founded by Dean Cain in 1998. However, the company didn't use a logo until 1999.
1st Logo
(1999-2002)
Nickname: “The Dragon”
Logo: On a black background, we see a red circle with a black dragon, outlined in white that is breathing out fire. Then suddenly, the name “ANGRY DRAGON ENTERTAINMENT” in white lettering zooms out mid-fast from screen center underneath the dragon. The dragon cries while the name is being positioned under the dragon.
FX: The name “ANGRY DRAGON ENTERTAINMENT” zooming out from screen center.
Music/Sounds: None; just the dragon’s cry throughout the whole logo.
Availability: Common; still seen on reruns of Ripley’s: Believe it or Not! on Sci-Fi Channel, Chiller, and Biography Channel.
Scare Factor: High; the black dragon may cause a lot of scares, even if you haven’t seen this logo and the cry of the dragon may catch a lot of people off guard.
2nd Logo
(2002-2004)
Nicknames: “The Fiery Dragon”, “The Dragon From Burning Hell”, “The Turning Dragon”
Logo: On a black background with flames, we see a red circle that now has a cut shape of the same dragon from the 1st logo. The dragon’s head turns once in 3D effects. The dragon also roars like somewhat of a lion or tiger. The name “ANGRY DRAGON ENTERTAINMENT” appears later.
FX: The flames, the 3D dragon turning its head.
Music/Sounds: A Japanese-like shrine theme mixed with the sound of the flames.
Availability: See the last logo.
Scare Factor: High to nightmare; the flames, the roaring dragon, and the dragon turning its head may cause a lot of scares.

Does anybody here know of this logo? Sorry to be a pain, but I just want to know what it looks like. It sounds a very scary logo to me.
I know the dragon has a roar of a lion or tiger and there are flames, but is it compared to the Thames Video 90's logo or the (shudder...) Russian Nightmare? If anyone has this logo recorded can you post it? Thanks, Gladiator42 |
