Background: The Associated British Corporation was ITV's weekend franchise first broadcasted and founded in the Midlands UK on February 18, 1956 and Northwestern Britain on May 5 that same year. In 1968, the ABC franchise was lost, replaced by Granada Television in the Northwest, ATV in the Midlands, and Yorkshire Television in the Yorkshire area of the UK Midlands.

2nd Logo
(1958-1964)
Nickname: "Propeller Triangle"
Logo: On a black background, three triangles drop down one-by-one at a fast pace, leaving line trails as they drop. The first triangle reveals an “A”, the second reveals a “B”, and the last one reveals a “C”.
They join together to form a large white triangle with a black propeller inside. “PRESENTS” quickly unfolds below, letter-by-letter.
Variant: Endings of their shows would have a caption slide of the logo with "PRODUCTION" under the logo.
FXFX/SFX: Not too bad animation, but…
Cheesy Factor: The film quality is very bad and the animation is very choppy, but then again, it was the 1950s.
Music/Sounds: Three “chimes” as the letters are revealed after the triangles drop, followed by three drumbeats.
Availability: ExistsLong extinct on TV, but exists on DVDs of The Avengers (the 1962 and 1963 seasons).
Scare Factor: High;Medium to high; the music suddenly sounding out of nowhere willmay get on a few nerves. The triangle zooming in isn’t that tame either.

Logo: On a black background, the same triangle as before zooms in towards us and disappears. One by one, three triangles drop at a fast pace (this time, not forming trails like before). The first one reveals an “A”, the second reveals a “B”, and the last one reveals a “C” (all in a different font). They join together to form the same shape, then “presents” (also in a different font) quickly zooms in.
Variant: In some cases, this logo appeared without the "presents" word zooming-in.
FX/CheesyFX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: Same as the 1st logo.
Music/Sounds: Same as the 1st logo.
Availability: Found on The Avengers '64 DVD set; the ABC Production variant is on all episodes of The Avengers from the 1964 (last Catherine Gale) and 1965 (B&W Emma Peel) seasons.

Nickname: “Zooming Triangle Inin Color/Colour”
Logo: The triangle zooms in again, only this time, it’s colored yellow, and it’s positioned against a blue background. The triangle zooms in very slowly. It then zooms out to the left, and “ABC” appears.
FXFX/SFX: Simple, but decent animation.
Music/Sounds: Possibly (You(you know where this is going.)going) or something else, but we don't know excactly.
Availability: Extinct.Extinct on TV.
