AAC Kids (Canada)

Written and Compiled by Nicholas Aczel and Sean Beard
Logo captures by Logoboy95

Background: AAC Kids is (or was) a children's division of Alliance Atlantis Communications, Inc.

(1999-)

AAC Kids (1999)AAC Kids (2001)

Nickname: "The AAC Rocket"

Logo: We see a paper-cutout space background filled with stars, meteors, the moon to the east and the sun to the south. We also see a black rocket, with the Alliance A logo on top in yellow, and the text stack "AAC KIDS" written below in light blue with the "I" dotted with a yellow star. The rocket lands on the sun and sits there as stars and meteors pass by. Sometimes the logo will have the URL www.allianceatlantis.com in green at the bottom.

Variant: There is a long version of this logo where the AAC rocket flies like a bee around the moon and bumps the planet Pluto. This long version can be seen on Hore Houndz on Family Channel in Canada.

FX: The star and rocket animations...

Cheesy Factor: ...which looks tacky and choppy.

Music/Sounds: Assorted sci-fi sound effects accompanied by a child giggling. In some cases, it uses the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on early episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation on The-N. Also, it was seen on the short-lived cartoon Yvon of the Yukon, as well as some Disney Channel shows.

Scare Factor: Minimal; the cheap animation might bother some, but is mostly just annoying.
