Warning: On a bright red background, we see the words "FBI WARNING" (with "FBI" in large letters) with the FBI logo next to it. Under it is the FBI Warning text.
FX: None.
Availability: Seen on all Magnetic Video, 20th Century Fox Video, and early CBS/Fox Video releases from the era. This was also spotted on a 1984 Embassy copy of
The Howling with a black background. This can also be seen on Worldvision and Hanna-Barbera video
releases.releases with a dark red background and without the drop shadow of the text. Strangely, this warning was seen in the 1987 film,
Amazon Women on the Moon during the
Video Pirates segment.

2nd Warning
(1984-1999)
Warning: Same as before, but the background is darker. On 1989-1990 CBS/Fox releases, the Warning got cut to a still of the CBS/Fox logo a couple of times.
Variation: A black and white version is seen on classic films and shorts in black & white.
FX: None, unless you want to count the CBS/FOX logo being cut to a couple of times.
Availability: Seen on all CBS/Fox Video, Fox Video, and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment releases from the era, in the United States. The black and white version is seen on the 1989 CBS/FOX Video release of

3rd Warning
(1984-Present, used in Canada)
Warning: The same red background is used, but this time, the warning text scrolls up, twice, once in English, and once in French.
FX: The warning text scrolling up.
Availability: Seen on Canadian NTSC tapes and Region 1 DVDs.

(1999-2005)
Warning: Same as before, but the font is somewhat more modern-looking, and has a wallpaper of the FOX name on the BG. After the standard FBI Warning screen, it cuts to this. On a red background with patterns of Fox logos, we see the white "ATTENTION". The warning text appears belows it.

Availability: Seen on all 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment releases from this era.

5th Warning
(2005-)
Warning: On a blue/white gradient textured BG, we see a color FBI logo with "
FBI ANTI-PIRACY WARNING" in a white box in front of it. The Warning text in white appears below.
FX: None.
Availability: Currently used on all 20th Century Fox releases save for HiT Entertainment releases that were distributed by the company, which used the HiT warning and didn't even use the 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment logo!
