Background: 1C Company was founded in Russia in 1991, and began to publish games in 1996. 1C have five internal development studios and a European publishing arm formed after the acquisition of Cenega Interactive. In 2008 the company purchased their main competitor Buka Entertainment. Now, 1C Company is the largest games publisher in Russia.

Nickname: "The Countdown"
Logo: We see yellow numbers (same type as in the digital clock) counting down from nine to one. When done, the
1 transforms into a stylized number made of two lines and
C letter, also made of two lines, appears to the right. The light blink creates the word
ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ (Presents) below. The logo shines.
FX/SFX/Cheesy Factor: Letters changing, the light blink and the glowing. Very choppy.
Music: Stepping tune starting when countdown ends.
Availability: Extremely rare, can be seen on the earliest games in Russia.
Scare Factor: Low, the choppy movement can make you the creep.
1st Logo
(1998?-2004)
Nickname: "The Better Countdown"
Logo: Again we see the countdown, but now from five. The letters are 3D, made of gold and blink. When the countdown reaches one, the letter
C to the right appears, along with the words
"Фирма 1С" below. The logo is made in 3D and shines. Finally, the word
ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ again fade in.
FX/SFX: The countdown, the transformation and the shining.
Music: Sounds of countdown and a tune after it's complete.
Availability: Can be found in a pair with Snowball Interactive localized games.
Scare Factor: Low. On localized games, this logo is always followed by a marvelous Snowball logo, so this combination is harmful.

(2004 - )
Nickname: "The Great Countdown"
Logo: On a screen full of green noise, the 3D green numbers of the clock (
XX:XX) are seen zooming in and counting down. The noise clears. When the numbers reach 00:01, they revert to show the greenish 1C logo with
"Фирма 1С" below. Then background changes to white or yellow.
FX/SFX: The countdown.
Variants: There's a rare version where the byline is translated into
1C Company.
Music/Sounds: Noisy effects with ticking sounds, the sound of reversion, the background changing.
Availability: Very common in Russia, Uncommon in Europe.
Scare Factor: None to Low.
