Background: Rio 2016 On Demand was the on demand service for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. The service provides coverage of all events which happened in the 2016 Olympics and was run by NBCUniversal.

(August 5-21, 2016)

Logo: We see a live action shot of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On the right of the screen is a cliff. A man with drums is standing on the cliff. He plays a mini drum solo as a weird green shape surrounded by yellow and blue edges starts to form. The text "Rio" in white with the NBC Peacock logo above it and the Olympic symbol (also in white) below it all zoom out to the center of the shape (creating the Rio 2016 emblem). Below the shape, the letters in the text "ONDEMAND" in gold fly in and merge with each other, creating the full text.

Trivia: If you look closely at the bottom of the screen at the river, you will see 2 swimmers swimming around.

FX/SFX: A combination of live action and animation.

Music/Sounds: The mini drum solo played by the man.

Availability: As of August 22, 2016, it's extinct.
