Background: Since its foundation in 1989, InterCom has not only established itself as the largest film, video and DVD distributor and cinema exhibitor in Hungary, but much, much more: it has grown to be the flagship of visual entertainment in the country, a market-leading innovator of the movie business, pioneering modern film and video distribution in the Hungarian market. The company also intends to become the driving force behind the boom of 21st Century in new generation cinemas and was the first to introduce multiplex theaters to Hungarian audiences, being one of the most successful multiplex operators to date.

Nickname: "Popcorn Meteors"

Logo: We start out zooming around a starfield in circles. Then an explosion occurs, sending meteorites and triangular glass shards in flight, and the Intercom logo, a blue/purple round-edged rectangle like Nintendo with green streaked triangles at the top and bottom spins around toward us, while the nebular wisps fly around.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A synth choir/drum tune.

Availability: Very rare; it was seen on movies of 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros, and Sony, among others, like Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Editor's Note: The meteorites look a lot more like brown popcorn (hence the nickname).

Nickname: "Volcanic Panic"

Logo: On a quaked earth crust, while light can be seen shining, parts of the quake are flying. Then we see the intercom logo passing through, sending those crust parts in the air. Then the camera pans to see the logo frontally.

FX/SFX: CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: A shortened version of the 1st logo's jingle.

Availability: See the previous logo.

Editor's Note: None.
