Logo description, capture and video capture by Logophile

Background: B-Girls Productions is the production company of Anne Beatts and Eve Brandstein. The name comes from their last initials, hence "B-Girls".

(September 4, 1989)

Logo: The words
B-GIRLS
PRODUCTIONS

are on a black background in white, with "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" at the bottom. Two red lipstick kiss prints appear on the "B" and the "S" of "B-GIRLS" respectively.

FX/SFX: The kiss prints.

Music/Sounds: The sound of women talking and laughing is heard.

Availability: Extremely rare. The only confirmed appearance of this is from the 1989 CBS TV pilot Julie Brown: The Show. The logo is preserved on the Julie Brown pilot as a bonus feature on the DVD release of The Edge. There's a possibility this appeared on the pilot of Homeroom, since Brandstein executive produced the pilot and may have appeared on the 1991 ABC TV pilot The Belles of Bleecker Street.

Editor's Note: None.
