Background: Gaumont-Franco Film-Aubert was formed from a merger of Gaumont and Franco Film Aubert. Known as GFFA. It went into liquidation in 1935, and was taken over in 1938 and was called "Société Nouvelle des Etablissement Gaumont" (SNEG).
